Horizon

“The horizon is a mystical meeting-place, a reconciliation, and a bridge between two worlds,” he said. He is a mystic, himself; he is so far gone that the stars with all their spirit and ecstasy turn to him, for light. He is the junction between earth and heaven, itself. Why are we here? What made us? And where will we end up? are legitimate concerns. Nonetheless, seeing magical elements of life that perhaps others can’t see is only the outermost layer of him; he is deeply entrenched in light and all its connotations and nuances. All this even considering that he’s had setback after setback, every day of his life. It’s been supremely difficult for him–a human trial without end. I think he demonstrates the complexity and nuance of formulating meaning out of existence. We often view life as various shades of good and bad, but he is a good representation of the complexity involved in reconciling those dimensions, those aspects.
